Role
Who you are
- This role is for you if you love creating and iterating on processes, connecting with inspiring customers, communicating candidly, using data to continuously exceed expectations, and learning every day in a scrappy start-up environment
- Experience: You have 1-3 years of experience in sales, account management, or business development in a fast paced environment; You have experience using a variety of fundamental sales and data tools (e.g. Salesforce, data visualization software, call recording tools)
- Customer obsessed: You always do what’s right for the customer; are our customers’ strongest advocate; can aggregate customer feedback to influence cross-functional stakeholders/decisions

What the job involves
- This is an exciting opportunity to join Faire’s European retailer sales team
- In this role, you will be responsible for acquiring high value retailers in Germany, Austria and Switzerland that have previously not utilized Faire for their buying needs
- In order to acquire these customers, you will dive into their business to qualify them and prepare for your outreach, introduce them to the Faire platform and help them navigate the buying process
- You will also provide valuable upmarket retailer insight and product feedback on blockers to acquisition as the voice of the customer
- We are an adaptable, fast moving team and are in need of customer obsessed sales representatives who will create Faire advocates amongst our retailers while achieving acquisition goals
- Drive first orders and spend per ordering retailer through phone calls, emails and video meetings in a way that builds trust and credibility and meets or beats goals
- Discover retailers needs and challenges to match relevant Faire value props and offerings and ensure they understand how to utilize Faire to grow their business
- Synthesize, measure, and communicate the voice of the customer to provide actionable and invaluable feedback to help size blockers and prioritize product development
- Help determine what characteristics best prioritize leads and opportunities, test tools, trial tactics, and define processes to help create the outbound retailer motion
- Accelerate the lifecycle from first touch to win
- Collaborate cross-functionally on various initiatives to further the success of our upmarket retailers (support, product, design, marketing, etc.)
- Use data, and reports to truth seek and drive action to beat goals
- Be relentlessly resourceful, scrappy and act with urgency to ensure Faire’s success
- Foster a psychologically safe, motivating, inclusive and energizing team culture
