Role
Who you are
- This is a great opportunity for someone who’s passionate about mobile gaming, understands what grabs a player's attention, and wants to work at the intersection of creativity and strategy
- 3+ years of work experience as a Designer, with a strong portfolio showcasing marketing assets for mobile games, e-commerce, or consumer apps
- Experience working within an agency or in-house brand team, ideally focused on mobile-first products or gaming
- A deep interest in mobile gaming, player behavior, and the creative mechanics that drive engagement and installs
- Great eye for layout, typography, and visual storytelling
- Expertise in Figma and Adobe CC tools such as Photoshop and Illustrator
- Strong grasp of working within brand guidelines while pushing for innovation
- Ability to manage your workload, stay organized, and thrive in fast-paced environments
- Comfortable working with deadlines, quick turnarounds, and evolving creative briefs
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills in English
Desirable
- Experience in A/B testing and conversion-driven creative optimization
- Experience with Gen AI tools such as ChatGPT, Midjourney, Adobe Firelfy, etc
- Familiarity with project management tools like Asana or Notion
- Basic motion design skills (After Effects, Premiere, or similar)
What the job involves
- As a Designer at Phiture, you’ll focus on creating high-impact marketing assets for leading mobile games and ecommerce platforms
- You’ll be part of a cross-functional team of designers, copywriters, and mobile growth experts, developing creative that not only looks great - but performs. From app store visuals to UA campaigns, your work will help top gaming apps grow and connect with their audiences globally
- You'll collaborate closely with clients and teammates to turn insights into engaging visuals that speak directly to mobile players
- Create high-performing marketing assets for mobile games, including App Store visuals (screenshots, icons, preview videos), UA creatives, and static/video assets optimized for performance
- Collaborate with copywriters, designers, motion artists, and growth consultants to develop game-focused creative strategies that align with player motivations and industry trends, and take performance data into account
- Use GenAI tools to supercharge your creative workflow
- Contribute to Phiture’s brand materials (e.g. conference visuals, event collateral, internal assets) and help evolve our visual identity across channels
- Participate in feedback sessions and creative reviews, contributing to a high-standard design culture rooted in process, experimentation, and performance
Our take
Berlin-based Phiture is an award-winning mobile growth consultancy and agency working with the teams behind some leading apps. The founders previously worked together as growth managers for SoundCloud and during this time noticed an impending surge in the mobile industry, hence had first-hand experience on how to successfully market a company in this field.
The agency is considered one of the fastest-growing companies of its kind and has accrued impressive clients including Headspace and Adobe. Phiture has been working to expand its US presence in order to become the ‘worldwide’ consultancy for mobile growth. It also acquired the app early-testing tool ASO Giraffe, which it has re-launched as Replika, in order to build out its software toolkit for app teams.
