Who you are

We are looking for someone proactive, detail-oriented, and diligent about software development
Degree in Computer Science or related field
2-3 years of development experience in Go
Hands-on experience with tooling related to Go (build systems, package managers, unit testing, CI pipelines)
Ability to develop software using agile processes, implement mission-critical features, and navigate through a large codebase
Experience with code review process and ability to conduct them
Strong ability to work in a team environment
Fluency in Git and GitHub
Critical thinking and problem-solving skills, ability to work independently
Attention to detail and ability to implement production-level code
Experience operating blockchain networks and troubleshooting outages in an on-call rotation schedule
Fluent in English, with strong writing and speaking skills
Nice to have - experience with cryptography or security
Nice to have - understanding compilers and virtual machines
Nice to have - previous work with go-ethereum (geth)
Nice to have - basic understanding of blockchains and Ethereum

What the job involves

As a GoLang Engineer, you will be at the forefront of Web3, tackling new and challenging problems in the blockchain space
You will be responsible for implementing, maintaining, and operating blockchain systems while working in an agile team of experienced software engineers
You will help ensure the smooth operation of systems by identifying and fixing issues.
You will participate in defining requirements, designing, and implementing high-quality code, conducting code reviews, identifying root causes, and implementing thorough unit tests—everything needed to produce robust and reliable software products

Zircuit is an Ethereum Layer 2 network that enhances blockchain efficiency using zero-knowledge rollups. Its standout feature is advanced sequencer-level security, which employs AI to detect and block potential hacks before transactions are added to the blockchain, helping safeguard the network and its users from fraud.
