Role
Who you are
- 10+ years Talent Acquisition Recruiting and Operations experience
- 5+ years Talent Acquisition Management experience
- International recruitment experience preferred
- Proven project management experience implementing strategy and building partnerships
- Hands-on experience with Application Tracking Systems (ATS); Greenhouse preferred
- Excellent communications skills with the ability to foster long term relationships
- Experience in fast paced, start-up high tech organizations preferred
- Bachelor’s in Human Resources or similar field. Master’s preferred
What the job involves
- The Director, Talent Acquisition (TA) will lead the TA team (Recruiting and TA Operations) within our dynamic and rapidly growing company
- It is a critical role that will continue to build and scale our talent pipelines and operational processes as well as executing TA strategic plans both domestic and international
- This role will work with finance and department heads across the company to develop strategies to meet the organization recruiting needs
- The key functions of this role are to lead the TA Operations Team, scale current processes and to design and execute future TA strategies to keep pace with our rapid international growth
- In addition, the candidate will work closely with our outsourced recruiting team
- It will include the need to build strong partnerships within and outside the company
- This role will be a “hands on” role and report to the Head of HR
- Build on and execute Talent Acquisition strategies
- Manage the TA Ops Team
- Manage relationships with external recruiters as needed
- Work with team to devise creative recruitment opportunities to execute on top recruitment priorities
- Understand the expansion of the company world-wide in terms of recruitment needs
- Work across the entire HR team to integrate strategies and tools for seamless delivery of services and execute best in class candidate experiences

The company is unique for the scale of their ambitions. Rather than focusing on what they term “intermediate milestones” like building smaller proof of concept systems, PsiQuantum builds the first large-scale, error-corrected computer, using photonics to deliver over 1,000,000 qubits (current quantum machines have yet to cross the 1,000 qubit mark).
There are plenty of companies building quantum computers, including the likes of IBM, Google and Honeywell, but these prototypical machines lack the size to correct errors, making them exponentially less useful than what PsiQuantum aims for. While other companies operate in the same sphere, PsiQuantum is unequivocally a leader in its field, founded by world-class academics and raising hundreds of millions in funding to reach unicorn status.
