Role
Who you are
- You are a student of a law degree program (e.g. business law, law, etc.)
- You have basic knowledge of German civil law (especially contract law) and ideally data protection law
- You are willing to deal with several legal areas
- You have good communication skills (in terms of comprehensibility to non-lawyers)
- You are business fluent in German and English
What the job involves
- As an intern, you will support our company's legal department with legal tasks in various areas of law, primarily in civil law (contract law), data protection law and IT law
- You will support the drafting and review of contracts, the preparation of legal statements, contract management, evaluation and the introduction of tools
- You will draft proposals for internal compliance measures
- You take part in legal negotiations with partners and clients
- You will research legal issues
- After your successful internship, we would be happy to keep you with us as a working student

Our take
Compared to other industries, the real estate sector has been rather left behind by technological developments, still relying on old-fashioned record-keeping and telephone communications. But the recent arrival of PropTech startups are changing that. casavi is one such company, aiming to digitise the industry with a collaborative property management platform.
casavi's platform automates and streamlines many aspects of the property management business, allowing for online ticketing and service apps for tenants. Most notably, its collaborative platform, Relay, allows real-time communication between over 50,000 real estate service providers. As an early mover in a sector urgently in need of modernisation, casavi has quickly earned a client base of over 1,600 property managers, housing associations and commercial property owners with a collective portfolio of over 130,000 buildings.
Having raised funding, casavi is moving to cement its leading position in the DACH PropTech sector. It is working to develop its product with a focus on automation features, expand its partnership scheme to more real estate services and build out its team. In the longer term, it will scale its solution and increase its customer base in the DACH region.
