Assistant General Counsel, Rebrandly

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as corporate counsel providing legal advice and negotiating agreements in a B2B SaaS/technology/environment with an international company or equivalent experience in a law firm
• JD/Degree from an accredited law school and licensed to practice in Ireland or the US
• Strategic, outcomes-oriented, curious, creative, and collaborative; able to leverage data and insights to arrive at meaningful business solutions and execute with conviction
• Demonstrated success working with international sales and technical teams in commercial negotiations
• Understanding of contract law and software contract requirements and strong skills in negotiating SaaS agreements, including working with Finance and Sales Operations on any process or document changes needed to execute partner agreements
• Knowledge of and experience advising on global data privacy compliance. External certifications in this area will be deemed a plus
• Excellent organizational skills and an ability to set and meet deadlines
• Strong written and verbal communicator with great attention to detail, common sense, and humor
• Experience and enthusiasm to work cross-functionally and cross-culturally, cultivate strong relationships with business partners, and collaborate as a trusted advisor across the business
• Significant experience advising on multi-jurisdictional matters and contract negotiations
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, hyper-growth environment
• Willingness to be flexible and engage in wider business initiatives and workstreams to support company goals and objectives
• Broad legal knowledge enables you to identify and resolve various legal issues and familiarity with legal tech tools and solutions for enhancing efficiency and effectiveness

• As Assistant General Counsel, you’ll support Rebrandly in achieving its business goals and ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory matters globally
• You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver timely and pragmatic legal advice and support
• This role reports to our General Counsel & SVP Operations
• Legal Expertise: Provide comprehensive legal support on commercial transactions in different jurisdictions, including drafting, reviewing, and negotiating supplier, customer, and channel agreements and other legal documents. Leverage Rebrandly’s Risk Profile and Risk Reporting Frameworks to advise on and mitigate legal risks associated with new and existing projects. Rebrandly’s primary contracting entity is RadiateCapital Limited (dba Rebrandly); most contracts are governed by Irish law
• Data protection: Advise on data protection compliance globally and review data protection policies and DPAs. I also assist with infosec matters internally for customers and partners by leveraging best-in-class tools such as HyperComply, OneTrust, SafeBase, and Drata
• Intellectual property: Work with external counsel to identify, register, and manage Rebrandly’s intellectual property portfolio and strategies (inc., trademarks, patents, copyrights, and domains)
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with other departments on various business-related matters, including supporting Sales, Finance, HR, Product, Tech, and Marketing to provide holistic legal assistance and support business goals
• Legal operations: Technology is at the heart of everything at Rebrandly. You will adopt best practices to use existing and new systems, tools, and technologies that improve productivity and business efficiency (inc. DocuSign, SalesForce, GSuite, ContractSafe, and PLC Law). Maintain and develop precedent agreements while staying up-to-date with regulatory and legal developments, trends, and requirements and identify improvements to efficiency and effectiveness
