Role
Who you are
- You have 2+ years experience managing a high volume of referral partnerships (bonus points for start up experience!)
- You want to work at a high-growth, bootstrapped, startup and know what that entails - building things from scratch, if something needs doing being the one to do it, and ruthlessly prioritising
- You’re extremely organised and great at managing activities with internal and external stakeholders
- You have basic marketing experience; enough to be able to write copy for a webinar, outline themes for an article, and put an event plan together
- You’re comfortable with speaking to a range of people, some from senior roles, both in person and on virtual calls
- You know when to take action yourself and use initiative but also when to escalate and ask for support
- You have strong writing skills and write like you speak - you roll your eyes at business buzzwords
- You’re based in the UK
What the job involves
- As our Partnerships Manager you will execute on the partnerships strategy to drive brand awareness and revenue from referrals
- You will report to the Director of Partnerships within the Marketing Team
- For us, Partnerships is primarily a revenue channel (by generating referral leads) but you’ll work closely with other teams in the business including Sales, Marketing, and Product
- Nurture partner relationships to ultimately drive referrals into the business through virtual calls, in-person meetings, co-marketing activities, and knowing when to engage other people around the business
- Setting clear expectations with partners, and understanding their expectations, as to what the relationship and communication will look like
- Know our partners and their products to be able to recommend when they can support our Pinpoint Marketing activities as webinar guests and expert voices of articles
- Proactively working with partners to create co-marketing opportunities that support our and the partner’s goals
- Managing co-marketing activities through from start to finish. This will sometimes mean you executing what needs to be done, and other times will require you to work with specialists from our team for copy writing, design, or event management
- Be responsible for ensuring our Integrations Webpage is up-to-date with new partner launches and any partner amendments
- Support our Product team in maintaining internal resources that educate our Sales and CS teams on our partners

- Initial Chat:
- A 30-minute conversation with our Head of Talent, Mike to discuss your interest in the role and experience, with an opportunity to ask questions about us
- We will provide clear next steps and a timeline and will always follow up with you shortly afterward
- Stage 2:
- Hiring Manager Interview:
- This will be an interview with you and your potential future manager, the Director of Partnerships. We’ll be looking to understand more about your experience, how that fits the role, and what you hope to gain from your time at Pinpoint
- We’ll be transparent and honest. Nothing’s off the table. So if you have questions from the last call, please ask them. This whole process is as much about you qualifying us as it is about us qualifying you
- Stage 3:
- Presentation and Final Interview:
- If we hire you, we want you to be successful. So if the interview went well and we’re all aligned, we’ll ask you to prepare a small presentation on something related to the role you’ll be doing at Pinpoint
- We’ll talk more about that at the end of the interview, and we promise not to take up hours and hours of your time. But if you’ve got to this stage, we’re all pretty invested in moving you forward and we want to make sure (a) you enjoy working with us, and (b) we enjoy working with you
- This stage will typically involve a bit of prep from your side, and then another one hour session with your potential future manager and our Head of Marketing
