Senior Data Engineer, Centerfield

• 5+ years of experience in data analytics, data engineering, or business intelligence
• Strong SQL skills and experience with Python or R for data processing and analysis
• Experience working with BI tools such as Looker, Tableau, or Power BI
• Knowledge of modern data stack tools (e.g., dbt, Airflow, Fivetran, Snowflake, BigQuery)
• Strong understanding of data modeling, schema design, and ETL best practices
• Excellent communication skills — ability to explain complex data concepts to non-technical stakeholders
• Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable working in a fully remote environment

Desirable

• We’re looking for a full-time data expert to own our data infrastructure, reporting, and analytics
• This person will be responsible for turning raw data into clear, actionable insights that drive business decisions across marketing, operations, and finance
• The ideal candidate has a strong background in data engineering, analytics, and visualization, and is comfortable working across multiple data sources to create reliable dashboards and automated reporting systems
• Build and maintain data pipelines and ETL processes across internal and external data sources
• Design, optimize, and manage databases and data warehouses (e.g., BigQuery, Snowflake, Redshift)
• Develop and automate reporting dashboards (Looker, Tableau, Power BI, or similar)
• Partner with marketing, product, and operations teams to define KPIs and provide insight into performance metrics
• Conduct deep-dive analyses to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for optimization
• Ensure data quality, integrity, and consistency across all systems
• Support forecasting, modeling, and budget tracking with data-driven insights
