Role
Who you are
- We are looking for a fullstack developer with knowledge of React
- You are a tech enthusiast at heart and collaborating with others is your preferred approach to work
- 5+ years’ professional experience developing mobile-ready websites using ReactJS (in Typescript a plus)
- Hands-on experience working on highly scalable applications using NodeJS
- Familiarity with MobX and Chakra Ui would be a plus
- Experience with design patterns, clean code, automated testing (unit, integration, e2e) using Jest & Cypress, and CI/CD
- Knowledge using NoSQL databases
- Comfortable with cloud-based applications, particularly in AWS, experience with IAC (Terraform / CDK) a plus
- Have strong written ability and excellent communication skills
- Experience working with AI technologies, whether in production systems, exploratory projects, or coding assistance tools, is a strong plus
- Bilingual (English-French) a plus
What the job involves
- The Tech Team is responsible for ensuring that our cloud-based clinical system is built to the highest standards
- The team works closely with both Business and Product stakeholders, utilising a hybrid lightweight Agile methodology
- You will join a group of developers with the goal of doing quality work and daily improvements
- We are also quick to embrace new technologies: we have rapidly adopted AI internally, and we are always looking to work with people who are excited to augment their work with AI
- As a maturing company there are many opportunities for development, you will help us to identify those, and drive improvement
- Responsible for the development and design of solutions as part of an agile team
- Building solutions combining user needs, business requirements as well as clinical safety and ensuring their technical feasibility
- Working alongside designers, product owners and other team members to identify technical challenges early on and plan new solutions
- Working across the entire web stack with ReactJS, NodeJS, SASS, GraphQL and TypeScript
- Advocating for recognised best practices based on clean, testable and maintainable code
- Participating in code reviews to ensure code quality and dissemination of knowledge
- Influencing and helping shape the roadmap for technology and business requirements

Its integrated clinical system aims to help practices manage patient data and streamline their administration and operations.
Semble is not the only option in the market, but its focus on private hospitals and clinics may well work to its advantage, as many of its competitors primarily target the NHS. The company's cloud-based system aligns the company with the broader trend towards cloud-based operations, another good sign for its future growth.
A well-funded business, Semble has been able to remain at the forefront of innovation through adding automation and most recently, AI to its system. A considerable influx of investment in 2024 will help to consolidate its market position in the UK as well as support the expansion of its newer presence in France.
