Who you are
- Bachelor or Master's degree in a related field Project management and leadership skills
- Proven experience as a Product Manager with a strong background in cryptocurrency indices or financial markets
- In-depth knowledge of cryptocurrency markets and index methodologies
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical mindset and the ability to make data-driven decisions
What the job involves
- Lead and mentor a team of Product Managers, fostering growth, collaboration, and accountability
- Set clear goals, timelines, and expectations, ensuring alignment across the team and with company objectives
- Collaborate with the Managing Director to develop and execute the product strategy for the Analytics and Indices Business Units, ensuring alignment with the company’s mission and market demands
- Conduct research to deeply understand customer needs, ensuring that products deliver maximum value and usability
- Leverage client feedback, market trends, and emerging opportunities in the cryptocurrency sector to maintain a competitive edge
- Partner with quant, engineering, and marketing teams to oversee the development and enhancement of products
- Manage the entire product lifecycle, from ideation to delivery, ensuring on-time, on-budget and high-quality execution
- Strengthen the link between product, tech, and revenue teams to ensure strategic alignment on product goals and deliverables
- Regularly communicate updates on product roadmaps and progress to various internal and external stakeholders
- Work with the Managing Director to define success metrics for both product lines
- Track product performance using data-driven insights to ensure alignment with strategic objectives and continuous improvement
- Stay updated on industry regulations and security best practices within the cryptocurrency index space
- Ensure all products adhere to compliance standards and maintain robust security measures

Our take
As cryptocurrency has become increasingly mainstream, the demand for a proper crypto data infrastructure has also grown. Kaiko builds custom crypto data plans for enterprises, providing the necessary data layer for institutions to utilise digital assets effectively.
Founded in 2014, Kaiko has moved swiftly to form key partnerships in the market infrastructure and data space, for example its 2022 collaboration with the Intercontinental Exchange (ICE). This has given Kaiko investors access to data centres around the world while at the same time enhancing access to crypto data feeds for investors and traders on the ICE network. What's more, the company now serves some of crypto's most high-profile players, such as CoinShares and Paxos.
Kaiko has set its sights on further developing its infrastructure, with an especial focus on expanding its connectivity solution. This will allow the company to remain agile and competitive in the years to come.
