The world of payments has changed considerably in recent years, and blockchains are continuing to grow in importance. Fnality International is one of a wave of new fintechs working to use blockchain to make payments faster, more secure and more efficient.
Fnality is headed up by a former Deutsche Bank managing director, and began as a research project. However, with changes in the digital finance ecosystem, Fnality evolved into a fintech enterprise. Its solutions allow users to settle securities trades with tokenised cash assets. In 2019, the company secured £50 million in funding, which has helped accelerate its work.
In 2022, the Bank of England announced the introduction of an omnibus account that could see Fnality gain considerable traction. If the company continues to invest in its team and product, it could become a driving force among fintechs in the coming years.
