Who you are

3+ years managing and mentoring engineering teams in a fast-paced environment
10+ years of hands-on experience with technologies such as Python, C#, PHP, PostgreSQL, MySQL, Vue.js, Angular, React, and Elasticsearch (or equivalents)
3+ years of experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure), containerization (Docker), IaC (Terraform), and event streaming (Apache Kafka)
Strong grasp of design patterns, system architecture, and software engineering principles. Experience with Django and Laravel is a plus
Skilled in data modeling and both SQL and NoSQL database technologies
Familiar with modern development toolchains, including GitHub, JIRA, and Confluence. Deep understanding of the full software development lifecycle

We’re seeking a Software Engineering Manager to lead a high-performing team of 6-8 engineers building scalable, end-to-end software solutions that power our mission-critical products
Guide the design, implementation, and maintenance of robust backend, frontend, and database solutions. Ensure timely feature delivery and technical excellence in existing applications
Mentor and manage one or more cross-functional development teams. Foster a collaborative, high-performance engineering culture through coaching, feedback, and development plans
Drive the design and development of enterprise-scale APIs and distributed systems, focusing on performance, scalability, and security
Promote software design best practices, including SOLID principles, modular architecture, and reusable code. Provide hands-on guidance and technical oversight as needed
Partner with product, commercial, and business stakeholders to align engineering resources with strategic priorities. Participate in technical and business design reviews
Oversee project planning, resource allocation, and timelines. Communicate progress and challenges effectively to senior stakeholders
Ensure service reliability through rigorous testing, CI/CD practices, and security and architectural standards compliance. Establish and enforce development standards to maintain code quality
