Who you are
- We’re seeking a proactive and detail-oriented professional with a strong foundation in project and task coordination and a passion for delivering exceptional client experiences
- Minimum of 12 months of project coordination experience (GRC, cybersecurity, or a related field is a bonus, but not essential, as training will be provided)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong client and team relationships
- Excellent organisational and time management abilities, with the capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Analytical mindset and problem-solving skills, with a focus on achieving practical, high-quality outcomes
- Confidence in decision-making and the ability to take initiative when faced with challenges
- Familiarity with governance, risk, compliance frameworks, and external audit processes is a plus

- At Cognisys, our GRC team is central to our mission of ensuring our clients’ data is protected to the highest standards of security and compliance
- As part of our ongoing growth, we’re seeking an experienced and motivated Project Coordinator with experience in coordinating resources and client communications to join our dynamic GRC team
- In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to take ownership of projects, foster client relationships and contribute to the continued success and development of our team
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring their needs are understood and met throughout the project lifecycle
- Manage our project administration end-to-end, including client onboarding, scheduling, resource allocation, coordination between internal teams, external auditors and clients
- Proactively address challenges to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of project outcomes
- Act as a liaison between clients, partners and auditor bodies to facilitate external audit schedules and ensure compliance requirements are met
- Continuously monitor and refine project workflows to improve efficiency and outcomes
- Communicate project updates, milestones and deliverables effectively to stakeholders at all levels
