Our take

Citizen Health is an AI-powered platform that gives individuals with rare and complex diseases access to their health data. By centralizing records like clinical data, genetic information and patient-reported outcomes, it helps patients make informed decisions, share insights with caregivers and connect with others facing similar conditions.

The platform also accelerates medical research by providing researchers with critical patient data, speeding up drug development and clinical trials. By empowering patients to share their experiences, Citizen Health helps advance personalized care and faster therapies for rare diseases.

Only founded in 2023, the company is already making waves, with financial backing from the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative (CZI). With CZI's support, Citizen Health aims to expand its platform, innovate further and accelerate research to improve the overall treatment of rare diseases.
