Role
Who you are
- 3+ years of experience as a Business Intelligence Engineer, Data Analyst, or equivalent role
- Proficient in writing efficient and complex SQL queries
- Solid experience with data modeling concepts and methodologies
- Familiarity with dbt
- Competent in at least one BI visualization tool (Omni, Tableau, Looker, etc.)
- Strong understanding of data visualization principles and dashboard design
- Familiarity with cloud computing environments (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
- Basic experience or exposure to A/B testing and experimental analysis
- Understanding or previous exposure to healthcare data privacy regulations (e.g., HIPAA) is preferred
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical findings clearly to business stakeholders
What the job involves
- We are looking for a BI Engineer who is collaborative, analytical, and eager to contribute in a fast-paced environment
- You will support and enhance our data infrastructure, contribute to data-driven solutions, and provide valuable insights through clear, impactful data products and visualizations
- Develop and optimize SQL queries and data pipelines to support efficient reporting and analytics using tools such as Snowflake, dbt, AWS, Fivetran, and Omni
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and engineering teams to understand requirements and translate them into scalable, insightful data solutions
- Conduct deep dives and help identify actionable insights that support business decision-making
- Assist in the execution and basic analysis of A/B testing, contributing to experimental design and interpretation
- Ensure adherence to healthcare data privacy regulations (e.g., HIPAA)
- Clearly document analysis, methodologies, and results for technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Mentor junior analysts by reviewing their work, providing feedback, and fostering technical growth
