Who you are
- Have 5+ years experience working in a SaaS-based IT environment
- Possess subject matter expertise in workflows and integrations, leveraging APIs to automate processes and reduce redundancy
- Have familiarity with strict compliance regulations, like HIPAA
- Are a hunter/gatherer, skilled at working with stakeholders to collect, synthesize and present solutions that meet business needs and drive efficiency across workflows
- Value project management, and plan work visibly and methodically

- Stay up-to-date on the latest security and privacy best practices and requirements
What the job involves
- In this role, you’ll have the unique opportunity to be the builder and driver of our dedicated, in-house IT Engineering efforts
- You will execute projects, both technically and organizationally, to tackle challenges as the company doubles in size over the next year or two
- Oversee and ensure optimal function of essential business applications, such as Google Workspace, Jira/Atlassian suite, and Slack
- Manage application security through routine audits, and enforce best practices for access control
- Develop and uphold procedures for employee lifecycle management, especially onboarding and offboarding processes
- Maintain documentation for all core applications and processes
- Address and resolve application-related incidents and service requests
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to enhance application configurations and workflows
- Work in a fast-paced startup environment
- Collaborate with highly motivated, mission-driven teams striving to redefine access to mental health in America
- Take projects from vision to reality in partnership with cross-functional teams, third-party products, and consultants
- Manage the tradeoff between speed and scalability in order to best empower the teams you work with
- Measure the impact of your contributions through quantitative reporting methods that promote visibility into our impact and enable our team to make data-informed decisions

Headway’s concept is timely, with national mental health under particular strain following events from the past few years. The company facilitates over 300,000 appointments per month and has attracted backing from the likes of Accel and Google Ventures.
Covering 16 states and the District of Columbia, the company intends to broaden its presence across the US using its 2023 Series C funding of $125 million. This is a crucial avenue for further growth, as medical care deserts across the US mean the potential market is vast.
