What the job involves

  • The Head of Enterprise Product Marketing role at Notion is an opportunity to shape the future of our go-to-market and product strategy for winning B2B audiences
  • You'll be defining strategy, working critical projects, working with cross-functional leaders, and leading a team that will enable Notion to capture the mid and large enterprise market
  • This position allows you to blend strategic thinking with hands-on execution. You'll work with company leaders, influence key decisions, and drive initiatives that will define Notion's success in the enterprise space
  • Work with GTM leaders to drive key elements of upmarket journey including designing a solution marketing approach, buyer and executive messaging, foundational sales supported programs, competitive intelligence, and demand gen strategy
  • Responsible for co-designing our product roadmap with product leaders for how Notion will capture the mid-and-large customers
  • You will lead team of product marketers through Notion's most complex and highest impact product launches
  • Create programs and content that help our buyers – particularly IT and executives – navigate change management of buying and adopting Notion
  • Lead the messaging and positioning for our enterprise segment – creating the enterprise narrative and pitch
  • Key counterparts will be leaders in global sales, product management, demand gen. Your role will be very visible both internally and externally
  • Manage our analyst relations programs, including working directly with analysts on briefings, inquiries, and key projects
  • Spearhead competitive intelligence strategy and projects that help us acquire customers and land competitive deals
  • Develop an approach for monetization for enterprise and business plans

Our take

Managing busy workflows using fragmented systems can be a headache for both individuals and businesses. Notion aims to combat this problem by enabling users to work from one central hub, customizing their workflows to suit their exact needs. This includes managing files, scheduling tasks, saving documents, writing to-do-lists, and setting reminders.

The company counts enterprise companies such as McDonald’s, The Wall Street Journal, Verizon, Samsung, and IBM as its customers. In spite of economic uncertainty, Notion reached a $2 billion valuation in 2020, helped by record signups as more people were forced to work from home. Its value has since risen to over 5 times this value, an impressive reflection of its success.

The company has made a number of strategic acquisitions that, coupled with its enormous market value and enviable customer list, have Notion well-placed to continue dominating the market. That being said, the launch of Microsoft-built competitor Loop at the end of 2023 will put Notion's market dominance to the test.
