  • Bachelor’s Degree in finance or accounting; (MBA/ACCA/ACA/CFA/CIMA preferred)

What the job involves

  • The FP&A Director has a broad remit across APEMEA
  • The function is responsible for providing finance support to the APEMEA CFO and other functional leads across the APEMEA Regions
  • In addition, the role will take on meaningful projects at the APEMEA Finance level
  • Work with APEMEA CFO, Region FP&A Leads and business partners in APEMEA to build and execute on strategy for the business
  • Manage delivery of a high quality and insightful end-to-end month end and financial planning and forecasting process for APEMEA Markets. Focused across revenue, contra and expenses, including communications, timetables, data requirements & modelling
  • Create a clear and coherent story of performance and actions for use within the business unit and at a group level
  • Communicate key drivers behind the budget and forecast to APEMEA leadership, linking the financial performance to strategy
  • Track risks & opportunities, identifying what options are available to deliver the plan each month
  • Works cross-functionally with business partners to ensure alignment with targets; performs variance analysis to deliver and articulate arguments in an effective manner
  • Prepare senior management presentations such as Quarterly Operating Reviews (QOR), Monthly, Performance & Forecast Reviews and other ad-hoc presentations
  • Analyse current and past trends in key performance indicators including all areas of revenue, cost of sales and expenses
  • Taking personal accountability to drive and own business performance through insight, challenge and understanding of the business
  • Act as the main point of interaction between APEMEA and corporate finance
  • Build strong and positive relationships with Regional APEMEA, Vertical Finance teams and the BFC, ensuring APEMEA objectives are met and translate business assumptions into financial data
  • Develop and build management reporting and insight for the Senior Management Team for presentation by Finance leaders
  • Drive business process improvement initiatives by building and maintaining financial tools to perform analysis and modelling; review and create suggestions to Region plans
  • Reports to the APEMEA VP FP&A
