Who you are

Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a comparable qualification
At least 8-10 years experience in balance sheet accounting
Knowledge in IFRS
Strong command of SAP ERP systems (S/4HANA a plus) and advanced proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel
Fluent in English and Spanish and/or Italian
French is a real plus

What the job involves

We are seeking a General Ledger to join our dynamic team on a permanent contract
As you will report to the Head of accounting based in Paris, this is your opportunity to play a key role in a thriving international company, where your expertise will directly contribute to financial excellence and strategic growth
Oversee the operational management of the General Ledger area for Southern Europe (Spain, Italy & Portugal)
Independently manage balance sheet accounting for our corporate entities
Prepare individual financial statements monthly and annually according to IFRS, and coordinate activities for the group’s annual financial statements
Collaborate with Group Reporting to ensure accurate account frameworks and support group consolidation
Lead and manage projects such as SAP optimization, migration, and company setup
Act as the main point of contact for auditors and tax advisors
Continuously developing and improving existing processes
