What the job involves

Ampcontrol is seeking an Account Executive. This person will be responsible for driving new business opportunities in Europe
Building a pipeline of new customers across Europe
Mapping customer organizations and engaging with key decision-makers
Engaging in and leading the full sales cycle
Sourcing, creating, and coordinating proposals
Ensure clarity and transparency for company leadership regarding your pipeline status and key deals
Collaborate with the CEO, marketing, and product teams to win strategic deals
Travel both domestically and across Europe

Our take

The mass transition to electric vehicles from combustion engines is facing many challenges. From high energy costs to charging reliability, the $500 billion industry must tackle these mounting problems to ensure that as many consumers as possible are incentivised to make the greener move.

Ampcontrol is an AI-powered software solution for electric vehicle fleet operators that claims to save its customers more than 45% on monthly energy costs. The company, founded in 2019, achieves this with charging management and data analysis systems and an EV charging infrastructure simulation tool. The latter is particularly interesting, offering EV charging providers a way to test the infrastructure it is planning to build before committing to it - saving them money by rooting out potential installation hiccups.

By cutting to the root of the EV affordability problem - installation and upgrade costs - Ampcontrol has attracted more than 20 fleet operator businesses in the US, Europe, LatAm and Africa. Having raised considerable funding, its 2023 Series A will be invested into the next stage of the company’s growth.
