Our take
A sector that continually flounders is healthcare. Virtual consultations and digital management organisation platforms are changing the game in this space. Digital evolutions are supporting the unending amount of paperwork and admin that goes alongside patient care. Ummanu is a digital healthcare company bringing forward intuitive services and telemedicine solutions
Ummanu’s pharmacy management services are one of the more common offerings in the space, allowing us to apply for prescriptions online and fast-track consultations with GPs over the phone. What sets the company apart is its urgent care product offering. The platform takes away the time-consuming administrative tasks to allow clinicians to spend more time with their patients, including services from remote visits to virtual waiting rooms. The unending strain on urgent healthcare services means that some patients are able to be triaged remotely which could be a game-changer in many situations.
Founded in 2016 the company has branched from its roots in Israel and had a successful expansion into the UK. Though its online presence is a quiet one, there seems to only be rave reviews for the technology solutions that Ummanu provides, a journey to continue to watch we’re sure.
