Who you are

The ideal candidate has a strong portfolio, an eye for clean and modern aesthetics, and experience designing intuitive, user-friendly websites
Proven experience as a Web Designer with a strong portfolio
Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, XD) or equivalent
Experience working with website platforms like WordPress and Duda
Basic understanding of HTML and CSS from a design perspective
Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
Ability to collaborate effectively in a fast-paced, remote team environment
Excellent communication and time management skills

Desirable

Knowledge of UX design principles
Experience with responsive and mobile-first design strategies

What the job involves

OneLocal is looking for a creative and detail-oriented Freelance Web Designer to join our team
Lead website redesign projects as we transition from WordPress to Duda
Design attractive, intuitive, and responsive website layouts and interfaces
Collaborate closely with the development team to ensure seamless integration of designs
Optimize design elements for usability, performance, and responsiveness
Conduct user research and usability testing to improve site functionality
Stay up to date with current design trends, tools, and best practices
Ensure consistent branding and design language across all pages
