Senior Frontend Engineer, Doodle

• 6+ years building production web applications; 5+ years with React + TypeScript
• Contentful (or similar headless CMS) power-user
• Proven MarTech engineering: Ownership on CMS, campaign pages, marketing-automation platforms, analytics (GA4/Amplitude/Looker), email-template systems
• Strong hands-on experience with Intercom (or Braze/Iterable) APIs: event tracking, identity mapping, custom attributes, journeys, data sync
• Deep AdTech knowledge: header bidding (Prebid.js), GAM, OpenRTB, viewability, privacy/consent frameworks (TCF v2)
• Expert in Web Performance Optimisation & Core Web Vitals; CWV-oriented CI gating experience
• Solid grasp of SEO, schema markup, accessibility, mobile-first, and modern testing stacks (Jest, Testing Library, Playwright, Lighthouse CI)
• Data-driven, agile mindset; fluent English; clear communicator with non-technical partners

• Your mission is to deliver blazingly fast, conversion-driven user journeys while lifting revenue and engagement KPIs
• MarTech Conversion Engine – Launch, iterate, and scale landing pages, funnels, and campaign components that boost sign-ups, bookings, and ARR/MRR; implement LLM-driven personalisation and robust analytics instrumentation
• Lifecycle Automation & Intercom Excellence – Design, implement, and optimise automated lifecycle journeys (email, in-app, push) via Intercom APIs, webhooks, and custom event tracking
• Web Performance Leadership – Continually improve Core Web Vitals (LCP, INP/FID, CLS, TTFB, FCP, TBT, TTI) and enforce performance budgets in CI/CD
• Programmatic AdTech Optimisation – Evolve Prebid.js and Google Ad Manager integrations to maximise viewability, fill, eCPM, and overall yield—without compromising UX
• Quality & Mentorship – Foster a culture of clean architecture, rigorous testing, and continuous improvement; coach peers in modern front-end and marketing-engineering practices
• Consent Management & CMP Implementation – Drive the implementation and optimisation of Consent Management Platforms (CMPs); ensure accurate signal transmission, user-friendly design, and compliance with privacy frameworks (e.g. GDPR, CCPA), following directives from Legal and Security teams
