Our take

Most of us spend our workday jumping between emails, documents, meetings, and endless browser tabs. The problem isn't just the amount of work but the constant switching between tools that breaks focus and wastes time. Instead of getting things done, we're searching for information, rewriting messages, and trying to remember what happened in yesterday's meeting. And now, as AI becomes more common, it brings with it a new issue: every app has its own assistant, but they rarely work together.

That's the problem Superhuman wants to solve. Rather than being just another AI chatbot, it's building an AI-powered productivity platform that connects the tools people already use. Its new assistant, Superhuman Go, works across more than 100 apps to draft emails, surface meeting notes, pull information from different tools, and suggest what to do next. Simply, it helps users spend less time managing software and more time doing meaningful work.

The company's recent evolution reflects this ambition too. After Grammarly acquired Superhuman Mail and Coda, it rebranded the combined business as Superhuman, bringing email, documents, and AI assistance into one platforms. Rather than focusing only on writing, the company aims to become the AI layer that connects modern work. If it can successfully unite these products and grow its ecosystem of AI agents, then it very well could become a central hub for workplace productivity.

Benefits

  • Support for professional growth: We provide an annual professional development budget to support learning and growth. Use it for conferences, books, online courses, coaching, or other opportunities that help you move forward in your career.
  • Tiered lifestyle & wellness stipends: Every team member enjoys lifestyle and wellness stipends they can use for gym memberships and exercise classes, grocery delivery, cleaning services, childcare, and more. On top of that, we offer larger stipends depending on how often you commute to a hub.
  • Commuting support & work-from-home budget: We help offset commuting costs through commuter benefits, and we offer an annual work-from-home budget so you can create a workspace that works for you.
  • Medical insurance & mental health resources: We provide comprehensive medical insurance plans and access to mental health resources. But our approach to wellness doesn’t stop here. We offer a wide range of holistic resources that vary by region.
  • Generous time off & Supercharge Sabbaticals: Our approach to time off supports meaningful rest and real time away, giving you the space to recharge and make room for life as it happens. At your 5- and 10-year anniversaries, you’ll also unlock a Supercharge Sabbatical, which gives you an additional 20 or 40 days off to fully step away and reset.
  • Connecting through Superhuman Circles: Superhuman Circles are resource groups that foster connection, community, and inclusivity. Join an existing circle or start one of your own to help co-create a culture of belonging.
  • Parental & family support: We support parents and families across different life stages with benefits that often extend beyond legal requirements depending on location. Caregivers have access to a reimbursable budget to help offset pet care and childcare expenses when traveling for work.
  • Lunch (and snacks) on us: When you’re in the hub, lunch is on us. And every hub is stocked with snacks and drinks throughout the day.
