What the job involves

Our Talent Acquisition team is looking for a Senior Technical Recruiter that will be own full cycle recruitment and deliver an 'out of this world' candidate journey/experience.
As a Senior Technical Recruiter, you will own the recruitment process and optimize hiring for specific engineering departments
Ideally you are a self-starter that is capable, motivated, and highly passionate about building organization
This role will be a fixed-term position to July/August of 2026, with the chance of conversion full-time. On a fixed-term employment you will receive full benefits and a base salary during your time working
Source and recruit top-tier engineering and business talent at a rapidly-growing company
Create scalable strategic sourcing methodology leveraging talent data
Provide a great candidate experience throughout every step of the interview process
Screen applicants, coordinate onsite interviews, and conduct reference checks
Manage and expand our diversity and inclusion initiative
Mentor and coach recruiters and other team members
Collect and analyze data on our recruiting funnel, and make recommendations about how to improve our processes

Our take

Internet access is swiftly becoming a core feature of modern life across the world - as of 2021, nearly 60% of the global population were active internet users, and the number is only set to climb. Looking to facilitate and benefit from this are Astranis, who have developed advanced small-form factor satellite technology (similar to SpaceX) to improve satellite internet access across the world.

This has proven an astronomically successful proposition with an overwhelming demand from global customers, including a partnership to triple data speeds across the state of Alaska. This is no surprise, as provision of basic internet capabilities is in the interests of industry, governments, and the population at large.

With a valuation of $1.6 billion, the company's Series D injection of capital is set to ensure the development of its Omega Satellite Programme. Its satellite method is already groundbreaking, and the company launched two in 2024.
