What the job involves
- We're looking for Software Engineers who want to be an impactful part of a small team working tirelessly to fix the talent problem
- Our Innovation Lab is a small group of exceptional Signalites who have created the foundations of our most groundbreaking products, including Cosmo, CodeSignal Learn, Certified Evaluations, and more
- Closely collaborate with our executive team, including our founders, to understand our strategy, tactics, and the best next steps
- Drive technical design discussions on features and changes
- Research the latest technical innovations and develop proof-of-concept and prototypes that keep our platform on the cutting edge
- Contribute to building across the full stack from product features to microservices
- Develop clean and maintainable code, with an emphasis on quality and craftsmanship
- Conduct code reviews and collaborate with your peers
Our take
CodeSignal offers an AI-evaluated, plagiarism-sensitive coding assessment, certification and candidate interview platform that allows companies to quickly pre-screen thousands of potential employees while tackling hiring bias.
The company’s call to action is to empower hiring teams to look "beyond resumes”, which are infamously scan-read for only seconds. The knock-on effect of this is that the best talent often gets overlooked, and the hiring process becomes biased towards details like the university a candidate attended, previous experience, or geographical location rather than their technical abilities. In addition to this, the platform also helps individuals cultivate the skills they need to level up.
