Role
Who you are
- You have at least four months, ideally up to six months
- You are motivated to build something new from scratch and are not afraid to lend a hand
- Ideally, you already have some sales or business development experience, but this is not a must
- You combine your strong interpersonal skills with strong communication skills in German and English
- You enjoy driving things forward independently, are curious and have a hands-on mentality
What the job involves
- Join our dynamic team and work closely with Kilian, our Co-Founder and CEO, and Chris, the Business Development Lead
- In this exciting all-rounder role, you will have the opportunity to play an active role in both Business Development and Sales
- You will drive innovative go-to-market initiatives and ensure that our processes are continuously optimized. Join us as we prepare for our Series A financing round!
- You will research leads and create outbound campaigns via various channels
- You will always keep our CRM system HubSpot up to date
- You create and prepare materials to deepen relationships with new and existing customers
- You take care of increasing our brand awareness through market education and plan strategic events such as trade fairs or exhibitions
- Together with the team, you will continuously develop our business development and sales strategy and support its operational implementation
- You will contribute your own ideas and find ways to optimize our sales activities and processes
Our take
As businesses become more data driven, privacy concerns mean that regulations on the proper handling of that data have also increased. The volume of data flowing through most modern companies is extremely hard to manage manually while remaining compliant to laws such the GDPR, which can leave companies liable to fines of up to 20 million Euros per breach. This puts businesses in a position where they have to spend their resources on data compliance instead of their core product.
Kertos exists to fix this with a platform that is able to automatically manage data privacy in a compliant way across an entire business. Able to integrate with most major data silos, databases and SaaS applications, it is capable of yielding up to 80% savings on resources compared to manual privacy operations. This has grown it a customer base including the likes of Gorillas, McMakler and Wellster HealthTech.
Kertos has recently raised funding which will be used to scale the company's operations and invest in product development. Going forward Kertos will also aim to enter into strategic partnerships to grow its marketing reach and expand its customer base. With an innovative, first-in-class product and significant investor backing, Kertos is well poised to grow into a significant business in the privacy automation space.
