Who you are
- Experience with corporate practice of medicine and state scope of practice requirements
- A J.D. and admission to at least one state bar
- 7+ years of legal experience

What the job involves
- The Performance Specialist role focuses on the regional performance of customer service and develops and implements strategic actions to improve metrics for the region
- We’re looking for a Senior Counsel, Regulatory & Product to lead our cross-functional regulatory efforts and support the rapid growth we are experiencing in the US and abroad
- This position is critical to our ability to scale Maven’s unique virtual care model while adhering to applicable regulations
- We need a forward-thinking, collaborative and optimistic partner who can help us solve the many complex issues that surface working across different healthcare populations while managing hyper-growth
- Advising on all aspects of US healthcare laws and regulations, state laws, and trends, including but not limited to Medicaid, state regulations, and scope of practice issues related to Maven’s products
- Serving as the primary contact to cross functional internal teams, including the clinical, operations, and payor teams
- Supporting our affiliated provider entities on matters related to licensure, credentialing, and reporting, as applicable
- Partner with clinical compliance team on requirements, audits, and regulatory matters
- Lead responses on provider matters, inclusive of employment support, internal investigations, and external regulatory responses
- Negotiate relevant commercial agreements tied to the products you will be supporting, including negotiating health plan and partnership contracts as necessary

Maven has received significant funding as it continues to address areas of underrepresented healthcare coverage, such as treatment of postnatal depression. As the company grows, Maven will use this new funding to continue to personalise its platform and enhance its service's cultural flexibility, increasing its support networks across all stages of family and reproductive life. Recent examples of expansion is new product offering for personalised support for those trying to conceive naturally.
