Who you are

Bachelor's Degree in Commerce/Accounting and CPA
3+ years of related Accounting experience
Advanced Excel and Google knowledge
Previous experience in a growing subscription revenue business is an asset
US GAAP knowledge is an asset
Excellent organizational skills and ability to meet multiple tight deadlines

What the job involves

Lead monthly accounting close procedures including journal entries, reconciliations and reporting
Analyze financial information and provide recommendations for any issues
Complete subscription revenue based journal entries such as deferred revenue
Act as a main contact for the Accounting team to other areas of the business
Establish and enforce strong financial controls
Perform US GAAP analysis for complex accounting issues
Calculate and submit commissions for payment
Review accounts payable transactions monitor related monthly cash activity
Ability to export and organize large amounts of complex data to drive business decisions
Ad hoc projects and analysis as required by the business
