- Three years of experience in content marketing for B2B SaaS lead generation. Required

What the job involves
- Chowbus is looking for a Content Manager to create and manage engaging marketing content designed to drive lead generation and brand awareness
- This role will develop a variety of assets, including ebooks, datasheets, checklists, videos, and interactive tools, while also overseeing public relations efforts by working with publishers and media outlets
- Develop a content strategy aligned with marketing objectives, targeting all stages of the buyer's journey
- Create and manage lead-generation content, such as ebooks, datasheets, checklists, videos, and interactive tools, ensuring alignment with marketing goals
- Maintain an organized content calendar to support campaigns, product launches, and ongoing lead generation efforts
- Build and maintain relationships with media outlets, journalists, and industry influencers
- Develop press releases, pitches, and media kits to secure media coverage for company announcements and campaigns
- Monitor PR performance and share insights with the team to refine outreach strategies
- Track and analyze content performance using tools like Google Analytics, HubSpot, or other marketing platforms
- Optimize content based on data insights to improve lead conversion rates, engagement, and SEO rankings
- Regularly audit and refresh existing content to keep it relevant and effective
Our take
Originally founded to expand the customer base of “mom and pop” Asian food restaurants, Chowbus has grown to become a delivery, pickup, and point-of-sale technology company. By evolving its services, it has weathered the customer drought of COVID-19.
Chowbus’s POS technology claims to save business owners up to $8000 a month in labour costs whilst enabling businesses to grow by around 25%. Its takeaway app provides customers with a way to select food from various restaurants in one order, a novel concept that differentiates the company from large competitors.
Its focus on Asian food provides Chowbus with a unique identity within the market, and its acquisition by Fantuan, an Asian food-focused marketplace based in Canada will aid Chowbus’s growth intentions.
