Who you are

Building low-latency and high-volume APIs

What the job involves

We are seeking a Software Engineer to join our Services team
This team is responsible for integrating with the data systems for Canoe Partners, enabling Canoe clients to break data silos and use their data as best suits their needs
Team members are Canoe’s domain experts in API best practices, and work closely with our Data Services and Data Engineering teams to create great client experiences
Build mission-critical services for Canoe’s core products
Contribute to the design and development of our Integrations platform
Design, build, and operate highly available, scalable, and reliable services
Build new Canoe product offerings within cross-functional teams
Build observable systems and be an organization leader in operational excellence

Our take

The internet presents itself as a seemingly infinite source of crucial information, particularly when it comes to financial information to inform smart investment. However, the sheer amount of data available makes it incredibly difficult to mine, aggregate and analyze in a way that is fast and efficient enough to be useful.

Canoe leverages AI technology to automate the analysis of investment data, including document collection, data extraction, categorization and validation. The technology is provided in the form of cloud-based tools, API packages and integrated portals, ultimately aiming to present a unified system in which investors can tackle the inefficiencies of manual investment data analysis.

It's undeniable that other automated data analysis services are available, but the unified nature of Canoe makes it stand out as a solution with a lot of potential. Off of 2024's Series C funding, the company is further optimising and developing its product offerings.
