Role
Who you are
- 1-2 years of sales experience; experience in payments or the travel industry is highly advantageous
- Proactive, organised and self-motivated with a strong desire to grow within a sales organisation
- Strong communication skills and the ability to establish rapport quickly with clients
- Familiarity with Salesforce, LinkedIn, and other pipeline management tools (preferred but not required)
- Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment

What the job involves
- Flywire’s Travel business is growing rapidly, and we’re looking for a Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our Sales Team
- This role is ideal for a motivated sales professional ready to build their career while contributing to both pipeline generation and deal closures
- The BDR will spend 100% of their time on Business Development Representative (BDR) responsibilities, driving lead generation and pipeline growth
- Prospecting & Lead Generation:
- Leverage prospecting channels such as cold calling, email, and social media to identify and qualify sales opportunities
- Manage inbound leads and convert them into qualified sales opportunities for the team
- Partner with the marketing team to enhance campaigns and drive lead conversions
- Research and identify new potential travel operators, DMC and accommodation clients
- Collaboration:
- Work closely with Senior Account Executives and Managers to support pipeline growth and sales strategy
- Partner with internal teams, including marketing, product, and implementation, to ensure a seamless client experience
