- Experience managing a team responsible for the areas mentioned above in a fast paced startup environment with rapid customer growth and adoption
- 8+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 3 years in an engineering management role
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Experience with healthcare IT systems preferred
What the job involves
- As a Senior Engineering Manager for the Platform team at Commure, you will lead a team of engineers to deliver secure, high-quality software solutions
- You'll also collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product reliability, scalability, security and provide technical support for complex projects
- Directly manage a team of engineers responsible for DevOps (Infrastructure, CI / CD, Security, Compute, Storage), developer experience, data pipelines, and backend system scalability
- Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for system reliability, performance, and efficiency
- Coordinate with other engineering managers to ensure their goals are supported, whether by providing essential development tools or reviewing the implementation plan for new features to ensure alignment with best practices and company policies
- Drive the adoption of DevOps best practices across the engineering organization
- Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of scalable and secure infrastructure
- Define technical roadmaps for company-wide DevOps, DevEx, Data Eng, and Security efforts with clear milestones and deliverables, collaborating closely with product teams to ensure success
- Support the overall engineering team's professional growth and development by fostering an inclusive team culture, mentoring junior team members, and recruiting top talent

And with over 100 clients lined up to adopt Athelas AIR, the company is very much positioning itself as a leader in intelligent healthcare infrastructure.
