Who you are

  • 5+ years direct Sales experience in SaaS, in an AE or similar role (SDR, BDR, CS, AM)
  • Prior experience strategically selling directly to CISOs, CTOs or other executives within the IT/Technology infrastructure
  • Self-starter, responsible for your own territory with experience building out your own territory plan
  • Identify compelling value propositions that address customer needs
  • Experience using our tech stack: Outreach, Salesloft, Gong, SFDC, ZoomInfo
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to articulate highly technical concepts to a technical audience
  • Cybersecurity or email security experience
  • Sales training such as: MEDDIC, Command of the Message

What the job involves

  • Valimail is seeking an Account Executive to help accelerate new logo acquisition on our Commercial Sales team.
  • You will assist in Valimail's overall growth by strategically engaging and closing net-new customers across small-to-medium size markets.
  • You have a chance to join a fast-growing, revenue-generating, venture-funded startup with name-brand customers as we build a meaningful security category
  • Own the Sales Lifecycle, from lead to close, with companies within the Commercial space (3,000-12,500 employees) and deal sizes ranging from 10k-90k in ARR
  • Identify and pursue new target accounts, maintain a high volume of revenue-driving activity
  • Strategically map out and break into accounts in companies in the Commercial Segment
  • Utilize solution and value-selling techniques along with overcoming objections to effectively guide sales processes to close
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams like Product, Marketing, Engineering, Customer Success
  • Keep CRM system up to date with customer information, forecasts, and pipeline data so we can learn more about our business and our sales process
