Who you are
- At least 4-6 years of experience in an analytical, finance or compensation role
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite
- Strong Excel and/or Google Sheets skills are required. Must be able to manage large data sets and perform functions such as table array, index match, vlookup, pivot tables, charts etc
- Outstanding attention to detail and quantitative/qualitative analysis skills
- Takes initiative and uses good judgment; excellent follow-up skills
- Detail oriented and sensitive with confidential data
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high growth, changing environment
- Ability to work cross-functionally to participate in projects and activities based on business requirements
What the job involves
- We are looking for a Senior Lead, Global Compensation to support the Global Compensation team!
- Manage our global sales incentive compensation in collaboration with our Sales Operations team, including calculating incentive payments and assisting in sales incentive plan design
- Be a strategic and operational compensation partner to the global sales organization consulting on compensation related matters
- Conduct data analysis in helping to create presentations to support strategic compensation decisions and further development of our compensation philosophy
- Support compensation projects as needed, such as the annual compensation planning cycle (Workday experience a plus), market benchmarking analysis (Aon Radford) and regulatory reporting
- Manage variable compensation queries from employees in our People Helpdesk - ticketing system (Salesforce)
Our take
WeWork is a commercial real estate company that pioneered the shared workspace market, providing spaces for anyone from freelancers to Fortune 500s. Traditional leases typically require businesses to commit to an office for 5-10 years, whilst WeWork allows its members to scale up from a single hot desk to a private office or custom-built suite, depending on their needs.
WeWork has hundreds of locations across the globe, with hundreds of thousands of members. While its initial rapid growth and dominance in key global hubs was impressive, it has since had to scale back and strategically re-align itself in an unstable economic climate.
There is certainly still potential for WeWork to see renewed growth and success, especially as remote and hybrid working continues to be popular. That said, observers will have to wait to see the eventual affect of its restructuring - and only time will tell what the company's future looks like.
