Role
Who you are
- 8-12 years of partner management experience with 5+ years specifically working with and driving successful partnerships with GSI partners
- Proven ability to think strategically and creatively while leveraging sound business judgment and financial acumen
- Strong networking skills with established connections at all organizational levels
- Experience promoting SaaS products and integrating them with existing GSI solutions
- Programmatic approach to scaling GSI partnerships to drive mutual success
- Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams
- Results-oriented with a proactive approach to initiating change and achieving strategic goals
- Ability to juggle multiple priorities effectively and maintain a strong, positive presence
- Experience with Contentstack, CMS/DXP platforms, MACH/composable architecture
- Familiarity with SaaS products, composable technology, and CMS/DXP ecosystems

What the job involves
- Contentstack is accelerating at high speeds with global expansion within our partner relationship team and looking for a Sr. Partner Relationship Manager - GSI, taking full ownership of driving GSI (Global System Integrator) partner relationships
- Your responsibilities will range from seamless onboarding to increasing market awareness in collaboration with our marketing team, building a robust pipeline, and driving market growth through innovative strategies
- This is a quota-carrying account management role working exclusively on managing hyperscale partnerships and developing deeper partnerships with existing partners
- Build and nurture relationships with key stakeholders and business units within GSIs to drive education, alignment, and business development activities
- Develop a joint pipeline by identifying opportunities and creating go-to-market (GTM) initiatives that result in revenue growth
- Serve as the portfolio owner and internal subject matter expert (SME) for GSI partners, supporting go-to-market strategies and sales efforts
- Act as a consultant and advisor for Contentstack’s Global Sales Organization (GSO) on GSI-related initiatives
- Identify and create joint solutions with GSIs to develop innovative GTM strategies and drive market success
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including partners, sales, operations, and marketing, to optimize partner sales processes and customer success stories
- Provide strategic guidance to partners, clients, and account teams around GSI partner growth strategies and solutions
- Work closely with GSI partners to build and grow the sales pipeline, ensuring global expansion and market penetration
- Network across all organizational levels within GSIs to foster relationships and unlock new growth opportunities
- Manage day-to-day GSI partner relationships and handle administrative activities related to the partnerships
- Develop and execute a sound go-to-market strategy, tracking performance through OKRs, KPIs, and quotas
Our take
As enterprises handle and produce increasing volumes of content, the Content Management System (CMS) market is still growing strongly – expected to more than double in size by 2030. To differentiate themselves in a crowded market, disruptors entering the space are championing the idea of “Headless CMS”, through which enterprises can customize the front-end visuals while offering the same level of backend infrastructure.
Co-founded by the same trio that created and sold Built.io, Contentstack is one such disruptor that’s making a strong name for itself. Founded in 2019, the platform is now used by a number of major enterprises including Shell, JPMorgan Chase, McDonald’s, and Walmart.
It’s been a very strong start to life, with huge VC funding as well as a high-profile customer base, but there is still plenty of competition – Storyblok, Prismic, Strapi, and Kontent are all well funded and growing quickly too. That being said, Contenstack is hoping that its no-code automation features will help it stand out from the rest as the company looks to grow internationally.
