Our take
The UK government recently abandoned plans for an industry-led AI copyright code of practice and is now focusing on achieving greater transparency in data usage by AI developers, while continuing to engage with stakeholders to find a non-statutory solution. Human Native AI is contributing to this space with it's fair and equitable AI data marketplace, connecting rights holders and AI developers to ensure responsible data use and fair compensation.
The platform offers a comprehensive catalog of high-quality, licensed content, enabling AI developers to access and utilise premium data responsibly. What sets Human Native AI apart is the commitment to both high data quality and the rights of content creators. Rights holders have granular control over the use of their works and receive fair compensation through licensing agreements, revenue sharing, or subscriptions.
The company has already raised £2.8 million in seed funding led by LocalGlobe and Mercuri, highlighting the support for its innovation. Moving forward, Human Native AI plans to expand the team, develop the product further, and establish new partnerships. It will be interesting to see how the company's journey develops as it fosters a sustainable and fair ecosystem for AI data.
