Role
Who you are
- At least 4-6 years of experience in finance roles
- Experience in a leadership position (managing a team)
- Deep understanding of accounting principles (GAAP or IFRS)
- Financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting
- Financial reporting and analysis
- Strategic & solution-oriented – thinks ahead and connects financial insights to business strategy
- Effective communicator & collaborator – conveys financial insights, builds relationships and works towards shared goals
- Data-driven & detail-oriented – utilises data to drive decisions while ensuring high standards in financial reporting
- Adaptable & resilient – thrives in fast-paced environments, adjusts to change, and remains focused under pressure
- Ethical & results driven – acts with integrity, inspires trust, and holds themselves and their team accountable for achieving business goals
- Any financial qualification e.g. ACA/CIMA/ACCA
Desirable
- Ideally, 2+ years of experience working in a SaaS company
- SaaS-specific finance knowledge (revenue recognition, recurring revenue, churn, LTV, CAC, etc.)
- Xero experience
- Cash flow management
- Experience working in a high-growth or scaling SaaS environment
- Proficiency in Excel
- Knowledge of HubSpot will be an added advantage
What the job involves
- As Head of Finance, you will oversee financial planning, reporting, and cash management while ensuring compliance with GAAP/IFRS standards
- You will lead and develop the finance team, optimise financial operations, and enhance transparency through accurate reporting and analysis

- Revenue recognition specific to subscription models
- Collaborating with other departments, such as sales, marketing, and product development
- Managing and understanding SaaS metrics such as churn, LTV, CAC, MRR, and ARR
- Setting and managing objectives and key performance indicators (KPIs) for the finance team
- Collaborating closely with the CFO on ad hoc projects, tasks and strategic financial initiatives

The company has attracted impressive clients including Rakuten, DPD, and Hermes. It's also become a member of The Eclipse Foundation (a not-for-profit organisation providing an environment for Open Source collaboration and innovation).
