Locating the perfect 3D model for a CAD or 3D Printing job can massively impact the efficiency of a product, yet it's very difficult to locate exactly what is required. Simple metadata search engines often provide something close but not exact to what the searcher is looking for, resulting in the process becoming very time-consuming.
Physna has developed a search engine for 3D models that focuses on providing results based on specific dimensions and other proposed classifications. To fuel this search engine, the platform provides a tool that can analyze an uploaded 3D model, determining geometric measurements, similarities on the market, and material requirements.
CAD design, video game modeling, and 3D printing are just three sectors that will continue to rely on accessing the perfect 3D models for the job, and Physna has smartly invested in the challenges that it faces. By providing an intuitive system for the quantification and searching of 3D models, the startup aims to increase modeling efficiency by helping users find what they need faster.
