Who you are
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a software development role

What the job involves
- The Onboarding team owns the product flows and platform that powers all new customer account creation at Ramp. This includes Ramp's application decisioning system that interfaces with our fraud, compliance, and credit underwriting models
- As an engineer here, you’ll own workstreams that expand Ramp's total serviceable market and improve the end-to-end customer onboarding experience
- You’ll partner with product, data, and design, and work directly with stakeholders across sales, marketing, risk strategy, operations, and finance to accelerate Ramp’s growth. This role offers the opportunity to have an outsized impact on Ramp’s overall growth trajectory
- Build software to grow Ramp to its next millions of users
- Scale the output of our application decisioning ops team through automation and AI assistance
- Drive business outcomes through metric-driven software development
- Own the customer journey from discovering and applying to Ramp through getting approved for and onboarding to the product

Ramp provides companies with a dual offering of corporate cards and a spending management dashboard. The dashboard allows companies to oversee their costs, automate manual accounting practices, reimburse out-of-pocket spending, and earn cashback on financial outlays.
Founded in 2019 and coming out of stealth in 2020, the company quickly reached a valuation of a whopping $8.1B in early 2022 and hit $22.5B in 2025. Its clients include several big-name companies including fast-growth health tech startup Ro, Planned Parenthood, and Truebill. 90% of its customers have made the switch from legacy players such as Expensify and Concur, showing that Ramp provides real customer value.
The team that built Ramp is the same one that launched the automated price tracking company Paribus before selling it to Capital One. It is now focused on scoping out more M&A opportunities and boosting its headcount to support investing in its software and going into new verticals.
