Role
Who you are
- 2+ years of prior Business Development experience with B2B software with some experience of some kind in Architecture, Engineering, or Construction (AEC) space
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Strong work ethic, entrepreneurial mindset, and desire to succeed
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and process-driven
- Ability to understand and communicate software solutions to business challenges
- Four-year university/college degree or equivalent experience required
- We are looking for a passionate, roll-up your sleeves sales professional with high energy that can sell our Visual Command Center to owners and general contractors in a virtual but supportive team environment. ABC!
What the job involves
- You will be the first touch point for Reconstruct’s new customers
- As a Business Development Representative (BDR), you will identify and source potential new opportunities, articulate Reconstruct’s unique technology and value proposition, and generate excitement that leads to a pipeline of great customers for the company
- You will be an ambassador of the Reconstruct brand
- Research potential sales accounts and identify key contacts
- Create and execute strategic outbound email, phone, and LinkedIn campaigns to generate highly qualified leads
- Conduct high-level conversations with decision-makers to articulate the Reconstruct business value proposition and assess whether they have a pain that we can solve
- Provide continuous feedback to Reconstruct Sales, Engineering, and Marketing teams on how we can improve our offering and messaging
- Effectively manage a pipeline of leads in Salesforce.com, maintaining accurate and relevant data on prospects and interactions
- Consistently achieve or exceed qualified opportunity quotas for Activities, Meetings, Sales Accepted Leads, Sales Qualified Leads and Pipeline Generated
Our take
Construction projects are complicated to monitor as they often run 24 hours a day, and involve many parties. The constant monitoring of a construction site helps project managers moderate quality standards, prevent workplace risk, and increase worker efficiency, ultimately leading to a demand for a 24/7 monitoring system.
Reconstruct provides a project visibility platform for construction projects, combining remote video monitoring, computer vision, scheduling, and project documents to help businesses monitor project progress 24/7. Captured footage is also applied to an overlay technology system, allowing project managers and their teams to visualize what work has been completed relative to what has not been.
Despite most construction businesses leveraging CCTV cameras to monitor project progress, this still requires manual footage analysis, Reconstruct’s remote technology and computer vision show great promise to remove this limitation. The company can greatly increase rates of on-time project completion, reduce time spent in OAC and coordination meetings, and mitigate project risk.
