Role
Who you are
- The ideal candidate will bring a blend of tactical executional strength and strategic vision — someone who thrives at turning ideas into meaningful brand moments that drive awareness, engagement, and loyalty
- 5+ years of experience in brand marketing, partnerships, sponsorships, or experiential/event marketing — ideally within a consumer, lifestyle, or hospitality brand
- Proven ability to plan and execute large-scale events and partnerships, from concept to completion
- Strong project management skills with experience managing multiple workstreams, stakeholders, and agencies simultaneously
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills — comfortable collaborating with cross-functional teams and external partners
- Data-driven mindset with the ability to analyze performance and translate insights into actionable improvements
- Hands-on, entrepreneurial attitude with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment
- Comfortable working both strategically and tactically — from contract negotiations to on-site event coordination
- Willingness to travel frequently (approximately 25–40%) for event activations, partnership meetings, and on-site execution
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)

- At CookUnity, the Brand Marketing team is responsible for developing and executing world-class marketing activations and experiences that drive organic growth through brand awareness and earn loyalty beyond reason
- This team sets the vision and strategy for the brand and brings it to life with strategic rigor, creative excellence, and cultural relevance. Through insight-inspired, data-led brand storytelling and experiences, CookUnity’s Brand Marketing team will build a category-defining brand loved by an entire generation of foodies
- This role offers the opportunity to shape and execute sponsorship and experiential marketing strategies that expand our brand’s presence in the real world and through strategic partnerships
- As a Senior Associate, Brand Marketing (Sponsorships & Events), you’ll lead the planning and execution of branded activations, sponsorships, partnerships, and event experiences that amplify our story and bring the brand to life across key markets
- You’ll operate as both a hands-on project owner and a cross-functional connector — collaborating with Growth, PR, Culinary, Creative, and external partners to create memorable experiences that reflect our mission and fuel brand love
- You will report to the Brand Experience Director and play a pivotal role in building a high-impact sponsorship and events strategy that deepens connections with consumers, chefs, and communities
- Lead the sponsorship and events strategy — identify, evaluate, and activate partnerships and event opportunities that align with brand and business goals, from local community events to large-scale category sponsorships
- Own end-to-end planning and execution of brand activations, pop-ups, sponsorships, and experiential programs — from brief development and creative direction to on-site logistics and post-event analysis
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Growth, PR, Social, Product, and Culinary to ensure cohesive storytelling and integration across all brand touch points
- Manage agency and vendor relationships, ensuring creative quality, operational excellence, and strong ROI
- Develop toolkits and playbooks for scalable regional activations that reinforce the brand’s presence and messaging consistency
- Negotiate and manage budgets and contracts for sponsorships and events, ensuring optimal spend efficiency and measurable outcomes
- Track performance and impact, establishing KPIs for awareness, engagement, lead generation, and conversion; conduct post-mortems to identify learnings and optimization opportunities
- Stay attuned to trends in experiential marketing, hospitality, and partnerships — bringing forward fresh ideas that position the brand as an innovator in the food and lifestyle space

CookUnity is a meal subscription service which connects consumers with some of the country's best known chefs, including Esther Choi, Chris Ratel and Andy Mendez. Consumers can select from a menu of handcrafted meals that cater to a wide variety of palates and dietary preferences. Believing that healthy food fuels stronger communities, CookUnity contributes to an ongoing partnership and donation with the Food Bank For New York City.
The New York founded business hit the headlines for its upward trajectory in 2020, where it secured $15.5M in funding and saw an expected boost not just in demand, but in the supply of top culinary talent at a time when restaurants were struggling.
While there’s a wide world of meal plan delivery services, CookUnity has a jump on much of the competition as it’s the first service that connects such eminent chefs directly with the customer. This has allowed it to expand across much of the US, and it now prepares over 10M meals annually for its 50,000 subscribers.
With most of the urban US now covered by its service, CookUnity is moving into the next phase of its growth, expanding the range of sellers and food products on the platform, and has plans to offer family-sized portions, breakfast options and cooking classes using its existing physical and digital infrastructure. This will enable it to grow into an all-in-one meal subscription service over the coming years.
