Who you are
- 1-2+ years of experience in a sales or business development role, ideally involving prospecting and relationship-building
- Experience with long sales cycles or enterprise-level clients is a plus

What the job involves
- As a Client Executive at Hi Marley, you’ll have the opportunity to grow and develop your sales skills while helping to bring our innovative platform to new clients
- In this role, you’ll work alongside a supportive team, learning how to build relationships and guide potential clients through the sales process
- You’ll gain hands-on experience managing parts of the sales cycle, interacting with enterprise clients, and helping them understand the value Hi Marley can bring to their operations
- Responsible and accountable for pipeline and revenue targets
- Build a sales pipeline and drive the full sales cycle from identifying new prospects to close
- Work cross-functionally with Marketing, Product, Design, Education and Engineering to execute sales strategy
- Responsible for carrying a quota aligned to specific strategic accounts
- Maintain timely and accurate reporting of the pipeline, account plans and activities
- Educate customers on how Hi Marley can benefit them and their insureds
- Partner with the Customer group to ensure customer receives maximum value and adoption
- Monitor the company’s industry competitors, new products, and market conditions
- Demonstrate industry expertise on key business issues, processes and trends as well as develop and demonstrate Hi Marley solution domain expertise
- Attend events and conferences to improve the Hi Marley brand visibility and network
- Accurately capture and report all aspects of account and opportunity information within a sales force automation (SFA) system

The company uses an AI-enabled communication platform designed to allow insurance carriers and their partners to talk to policyholders in real time via simple text messaging. This ultimately gives carriers more opportunities to satisfy and retain their customers.
Hi Marley has enjoyed rapid growth in recent years, with a quadrupling of its user base. It has also more than doubled the number of carriers using its platform, which now includes the likes of American Family, MetLife, Auto-Owners, Erie, and MAPFRE. Improvements such as the addition of a suite of collaborative tools to its platform seem likely to help it maintain its edge in the market.
