Who you are

  • Proven experience in product marketing, with a focus on multi-country or regional strategies
  • Strong analytical ability to understand complex market dynamics and translate them into actionable marketing strategies
  • Skilled in cross-functional collaboration, aligning product development with market and user insights
  • Proficient in data analysis, identifying trends, and opportunities in global markets, with a focus on NPS and CS feedback
  • Excellent communication skills, proficient in English, capable of working effectively in a diverse, multinational environment

What the job involves

  • In this pivotal role, you'll be working closely with the Europe and UK regional team
  • This role will focus on Spain, France and Italy as three key markets
  • You will work closely with the product team to identify key pain points for customers across the current product offering and help share new features
  • You will also be responsible for identifying our key target market for existing and new products, key value propositions of the product and developing the core messaging for these markets
  • Through this, you will also identify the key localisation opportunities across the product experience and landing pages
  • A significant part of your mission includes monitoring retention metrics and NPS scores, ensuring we capture and respond to customer feedback, and continuously refine our offerings for better customer satisfaction
  • You will also play a vital role in supporting product launches, providing insights on core audience, competitor analysis, and go-to-market strategies tailored to the product and target audience
  • Collaborate with the research team to gain a comprehensive understanding of our local customers, business or consumer, identifying key customer demographics, trends, and opportunities
  • Influence the product roadmap, utilising market and customer insights ranging from UX localisation to new features
  • Work closely with growth marketing managers on new product and feature launches by providing clear insights into target customers, key benefits, core messaging and competitive insights
  • Regularly monitor and analyse retention metrics, NPS scores, and CS feedback to refine our product offerings and elevate customer satisfaction
  • Identifying key areas of improvement across product discovery and ensuring they are aligned to local customer needs
  • Working closely with the regional marketing team, providing essential information for their creative processes and validating materials to ensure they accurately represent the product offering
  • Support our global product teams with local knowledge, ensuring that the global teams will enhance our global product by taking into consideration our local specifications
  • You will serve as the local user voice across multiple teams, ensuring that both product and marketing teams make the best decisions based on user needs
  • Directly influence our regional product strategy, impacting how companies and customers manage their international financial transactions
  • Work with a talented, diverse team to develop and implement innovative marketing solutions in the regional team
  • Make data-driven decisions that significantly improve our service and product offerings for businesses and consumers
  • Influence and motivate a cross-functional team, fostering a culture of innovation, responsiveness, and excellence

Our take

Wise started when the two founders realised they would be better off trading Estonian kroons for British pounds (and vice versa) between themselves rather than going through banks. That was back in 2011, and they've since grown Wise into one of Europe's most successful tech businesses, exchanging billions of currency every month.

Wise rapidly grew by solving a significant problem for customers, who lost too much money to banks when exchanging currency. They've attracted investment from some of the best investors in the world, from Andreesen Horowitz to Index Ventures and even Richard Branson.

The challenge for Wise will be maintaining their edge and brand power in a market that's becoming increasingly crowded with new entrants (like Revolut and Monzo) and incumbents (traditional banks) trying to catch up. To do so, the company is ramping up its digital and marketing strategies, as well as pushing for further development of its existing products.
