Role

Who you are

  • 7+ years of industry experience in building production-grade machine learning systems with all aspects of research, model training, tuning, deploying, serving and monitoring
  • Industry experience in programmatic digital marketing
  • Experience in the following statistical areas - Bayesian methods, Reinforcement learning, Deep learning Architectures and Recommendation systems and if you have experience in ML for Ads or ecommerce it is a plus
  • Motivated and self-driven in a fast-paced environment with a proven track record demonstrating impact across the different lines of business within an organization
  • Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with business stakeholders and manage tasks with strong time-management skills
  • Strong presentation and communication skills with the ability to work cross functionally with internal teams, as well as externally with customers through professional proposals, presentations, and collaboration
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Mathematics, or Statistics a similar technical field of study with a specialization in Data Science, Machine Learning, or Data mining
  • Master’s degree in a Data Science related field is a plus

What the job involves

  • Nexxen is looking for an experienced Data Science Manager with a strong drive for leading teams data science projects that assess and deliver actionable insights focused on driving business performance.
  • This leader will inspire a high-performing team to build and own data and machine learning-driven products, internal tools, and user-facing experiences that power our go-to-market and product-led growth.
  • You will work cross-functionally with a variety of internal teams and will communicate technical concepts to non-technical team members.
  • You will need to leverage presentation and visualization tools to demonstrate what the machine learning algorithms are doing and how they are performing. You bring strong problem-solving ability and a knack for statistical analysis.
  • Our team follows a hybrid schedule working in-office three days a week and remotely for the rest
  • Lead a team of Data Scientists to deliver machine learning projects that drive business performance
  • Design and implement scalable data processing and machine learning pipelines
  • Develop and implement machine learning algorithms to solve business problems
  • Collaborate with business, product, technology, and data teams to identify machine learning opportunities
  • Evaluate and improve the performance of machine learning models
  • Stay current with the latest developments in machine learning research and apply them to Nexxen’s business solutions
  • Write scalable, accurate, clean and maintainable code
  • Communicate technical concepts and ideas to both technical and non-technical stakeholders and team members
  • Lead in designing strategies, best practices, process improvements, analytical frameworks, share expertise with others, mentor and continually strive to improve overall contributions to the department
  • Present findings to senior leadership in a digestible and actionable format that will drive change and new initiatives across the organization

Video has been an invaluable marketing tool for businesses since the beginning of TV advertisement, but modern technology has dramatically changed how such content is consumed. On-demand omnichannel streaming services and CTV has provided unique opportunities for advertisers to develop their audience engagement strategies, but without the appropriate technology platform, this can be difficult to navigate.

Nexxen provides an end-to-end self-service CTV & video marketing platform, helping to provide businesses with the appropriate engagement tools to future-proof their video marketing. The platform includes AI-driven analytic tools based on audience data, marketplaces for the self-serving of media for campaigns, in addition to analytic tools to assess the success of campaigns in real-time.

Whilst several other start-ups provide either video engagement tools or self-serve video marketing marketplaces, Nexxen has taken the smart angle of combining both into a single platform, whilst specializing in futureproofing companies for the rise in CTV engagement demands. The company aims to save clients money, time, and operational complexity by unifying where they operate their video advertisement campaigns into a single platform.
