Who you are
- Technical Skills with Camera Equipment: Proficiency in operating various types of cameras, lenses, and other filming equipment
- Understanding of Video Editing Software: Familiarity with video editing tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar software
- Basic Knowledge of Lighting and Sound: Ability to set up and adjust lighting and sound equipment to enhance video quality
- Creative Storytelling Abilities: Skill in crafting compelling narratives that engage viewers and effectively communicate the client's message
- Time Management Skills: Efficiency in managing multiple projects and meeting tight deadlines without compromising quality
- Strong Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with team members, clients, and subjects to ensure a smooth production process
- Attention to Detail: Keen eye for detail to ensure all aspects of the video, from visuals to audio, are of high quality
- Adaptability and Problem-Solving: Flexibility to adapt to various shooting environments and solve unforeseen challenges during production
- Basic Knowledge of Graphic Design: Understanding of graphic design principles to assist in creating visually appealing content
- Social Media Savvy: Familiarity with social media platforms and trends to create content that resonates with digital audiences and enhances engagement

What the job involves
- Developing Creative Concepts: Brainstorming and creating innovative ideas for video content that aligns with the agency's objectives and client needs
- Scriptwriting and Storyboarding: Writing scripts and creating storyboards to outline the narrative and visual flow of the videos
- Planning and Scheduling: Organizing and scheduling video shoots, including coordinating with clients, team members, and other stakeholders
- Scouting and Securing Locations: Finding and securing suitable locations for filming, considering factors like lighting, space, and permissions
- Setting Up Equipment: Preparing and setting up camera, lighting, sound, and other necessary equipment for shooting
- Directing On-Set: Directing talent and managing the set during shoots to capture the desired footage effectively
- Filming and Camera Operation: Operating the camera to capture high-quality video footage, paying attention to composition, focus, and movement
- Managing Audio Recording: Capturing clear and high-quality audio during shoots, and managing any additional sound equipment
- Editing Video Footage: Editing the captured footage using video editing software to create a cohesive and engaging final product
- Adding Simple VFX: Creating and integrating basic visual effects into videos to enhance storytelling and visual appeal
- Designing and Adding Titles: Designing and incorporating titles, lower thirds, and other text elements into the video
- Selecting and Editing Soundtrack: Choosing appropriate music and sound effects, and editing them to fit the flow and mood of the video
- Color Grading and Finishing: Adjusting color balance and applying final touches to ensure a professional look and feel
- Encoding and Rendering: Encoding and rendering the final video in various formats suitable for different platforms and purposes
- Uploading and Archiving: Uploading the finished videos to various platforms (social media, websites, etc.) and maintaining an organized archive of all footage and completed projects
