Who you are
- Are you a proven closer with a history of excelling in the PEO sales landscape?
- Do you thrive on a relentless pursuit of new business and come equipped with a network of relationships that can be leveraged immediately?
- This role is for a seasoned professional who understands the modern SaaS sales cycle and has a deep, innate knowledge of the PEO space, likely coming from a competitor
- This isn't a ramp-up role; this is a "slide in and close" opportunity
- As a Senior Account Executive, how results are achieved is paramount for your success and ultimately result in our success as an organization
- Good judgement - the exercise of critical thinking, analyzing and assessing problems and implications, identifying patterns, making connections of underlying issues, understanding risks and developing mitigation strategies, and taking ownership of the outcome
- Detail-oriented - exercises extreme attention to detail; is thorough, accurate, organized, and productive and seeks to understand both the cause and effect of a situation
- Foundational sales knowledge - the specific set of sales skills (prospecting, cold calling, nurturing, engaging, presenting, negotiating, closing etc) and knowledge (product, markets, trends, business etc) a salesperson possesses to enact the exchange of value between a buyer and the vendor
- Results-driven - consistently achieves results, even under difficult circumstances
- Clear communication - the ability to articulate thoughts and express ideas effectively using oral, written, visual and non-verbal communication skills, as well as listening skills to gain understanding
- A minimum of 5 years experience in an Account Executive position managing a complete and consultative sales cycle and closing is required.Experience in Lead generation for B2B in a high-velocity setting (i.e., SaaS, PEO, Fintech)Salesforce, SalesLoft, LinkedIn SalesNavigator, and/or ZoomInfo are required. Experience with Outreach.io and/or Hubspot, in addition to 6Sense and/or Hoovers/D&B, is a plus
- Cold-calling experience is required for this position
- We are seeking candidates with a hunter mentality who are dedicated to grabbing new prospects, netting new logos, closing deals, and delivering immediate results
- Have established ecosystem relationships with Broker & Accountant Channel partners
- Passionate about sales and relationship-focused customer engagements
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and demonstrates the ability to listen to gather important information during a sales call and/or meeting
- Ability to simplify complicated topics and explain them in terms people can easily understand
- Able to apply creative solutions to a variety of issues in a fast-paced environment
- You enjoy entrepreneurial environments and the opportunity to build something meaningful!
- There is occasional travel in some territories (25% travel), which includes networking events, trade shows, and meeting potential clients in your area(s)
What the job involves
- Justworks is looking for a Senior Account Executive who isn't just looking for a job - they're looking to hit the ground running and make an immediate impact
- Your primary mission is to expand our user base and drive significant growth
- You'll be the face of Justworks, building trust with business owners and evangelizing our product suite in the small business world
- Your success is measured by your ability to manage your own book of business, build and manage a complete end-to-end sales pipeline, and consistently exceed your quotas
- Own the Pipeline: From prospecting to close, you'll manage all activities required to win
- Hunt for New Business: Proactively prospect for new business through market research, sales tools, and cold outreach
- Leverage Your Network: Build and nurture relationships with channel partners, especially brokers. We're looking for someone who can leverage a pre-existing rolodex of relationships to generate leads in addition to traditional cold methods
- Be a PEO Expert: You will be an ambassador for Justworks and its solutions, gaining an intimate and comprehensive knowledge of our product suite to effectively communicate its value proposition to potential customers
- Advocate for the Customer: Be the voice of our future customers, suggesting innovative ideas to improve the customer experience and advocating for product development internally
- Expand Your Territory: Research and establish a dominant presence in your assigned territory, developing a strategic plan to connect with the entrepreneurial community
