Who you are

The ideal candidate is a creative, strategic self-starter able to be both player and coach, comfortable operating in ambiguity and helping write the playbook while executing it
8+ years of experience in business development, strategic partnerships, or sales leadership within the health tech, consumer tech, or digital health industries.

3rd party distribution
Corporate partnerships
Proven track record of successfully driving revenue growth and expanding into new markets
Proven builder and leader scaling successful teams
Experience in negotiating and structuring complex partnership agreements
Exceptional strategic thinking, problem-solving, and leadership skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with a hands-on approach
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Understanding global healthcare regulations and reimbursement models is a plus

What the job involves

The Global Head of Business Development will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing Aktiia’s strategic partnerships, market expansion, and revenue growth initiatives
This leader will identify new business opportunities, foster key relationships, and work cross-functionally to establish Aktiia as the leading blood pressure intelligence platform
This role will be responsible for revenue targets
Business Strategy & Growth: Develop and implement comprehensive business development strategies to accelerate revenue growth and market penetration
Partnership Development: Identify, negotiate, and manage strategic partnerships for Aktiia’s platform across a broad ecosystem of organizations in consumer and healthcare enterprises
Market Expansion: Formulate a country-specific enterprise strategy according to organizational priorities
Sales & Revenue Generation: Work closely with sales, marketing, and product teams to create and drive revenue streams
Team Leadership: Build and mentor a high-performing business development team to support growth objectives
Competitive Analysis: Conduct market research and competitive intelligence to inform strategic decisions
