- 2+ years experience with UML, Web application development (React, Node.js, TypeScript) or SaaS (Software as a Service) technologies
- 2+ years of experience with OO design and development in an object-oriented language such as Java, Python, C#, C++, XO, etc
- 2+ years of experience designing/developing business applications
- Experience with design and analysis of software for performance
- Bachelor's degree in a computer related field or equivalent work experience
- You’re inquisitive, get stuff done, have excellent energy and thrive in a startup-like environment

What the job involves
- As a Sr Associate Software Application Engineer on Career Mobility team, you will:
- Work in an agile, multi-disciplinary team, that includes product managers, QA, and machine learning engineers, to deliver critical features for Workday’s talent optimization product
- Write robust, efficient and maintainable code using Workday XpressO, our in-house programming language, React, and other technologies
- Build APIs to empower Workday products
- Challenge the status quo, and innovate on our technology, processes, and team
