Our take
Cash flow gaps represent a real threat to many large-scale businesses and manufacturers. Centrifuge minimizes that threat by leveraging blockchain to ensure businesses always get paid on time.
The company was founded by leading supply-chain financing provider Taulia, which moves billions of dollars every day - and its expertise and track record has lent the company considerable credibility. The option to finance real-world assets without the involvement of a bank, and with the openness of blockchain, has also had broad appeal.
Centrifuge's continued growth reflects rising institutional interest in tokenized real-world assets and decentralized finance infrastructure. In 2025, Coinbase selected Centrifuge as its preferred tokenization infrastructure partner and made a strategic investment in the company, positioning it to play a large role across Coinbase's onchain asset ecosystem. With more than $1B in total value locked and partnerships with major financial institutions, Centrifuge is very much in the right position to be a leading force in bringing real-world assets onto the blockchain.
